Have they got lost?
Lost in translation
Hi all of you lovely people who have been following along with our adventure. We have been quiet for a couple of days but have nevertheless moved on and we are now in France. We have had a couple of minor issues including my reversing into a small brick wall. never a good idea but at least thats the first one done. Minor damage repaired with some Duct tape in the meantime. No damage to the brick wall, unsurprisingly.
We have spent much of the day trying to get internet access organised for here in France. The promised roaming on our Spanish SIMs is very limited and we have bought a French SIM. data is limited and I have to save enough for my job so the blog may be lacking in images until I can assess how well the data is lasting.
I feel sure that you would all want to see my duct tape skills around the rear light but to spare my blushes a little I am restricting images to one new door from Pamplona. You might be lucky and get some other images later.
Splendid door. Looks like a church but it is actually a school.
As previously stated we are in France. We are close to Sanguinet, just a little distance frpm Bordeaux. We are struggling to communicate with the locals because our brains just think Spanish but sadly they speak French here. Now Sheila and I got German at school so our French is pretty much on a par with Del Boy Trotter so perhaps you can understand the problem. We thought that Mountie Jack, being from Canada might be able to help but it turns out that he was not paying attention when they got French in school so he has been no help whatsoever. He failed to alert me to the presence of the little brick wall too so his Jaiket's on a shaky nail as we say.
Anyway I thought I'd just bring you up to speed and let you all know that we are safe and well. Really looking forward to meeting up with Rachel later this week. Au revoir the noo.
